et de produits \u00e0 base de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes.    <\/p>\n<h2>Combien de folates avant la grossesse ?<\/h2>\n<p>  De nombreux gyn\u00e9cologues vont toutefois au-del\u00e0 de cette recommandation et conseillent aux femmes de prendre jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 800 \u03bcg d&rsquo;acide folique par jour.<br \/>\nEn effet, une prise plus importante permet d&rsquo;obtenir assez rapidement un bon taux de folate dans le sang.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;utilit\u00e9 de 800 \u03bcg d&rsquo;acide folique est confirm\u00e9e par une \u00e9tude men\u00e9e sur plus de 6 100 femmes.<br \/>\nAucune anomalie du tube neural n&rsquo;est apparue chez les participantes \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tude qui ont pris 800 \u03bcg d&rsquo;acide folique.<br \/>\nLa prise suppl\u00e9mentaire d&rsquo;une pr\u00e9paration d&rsquo;acide folique devrait commencer <strong>au plus tard quatre semaines avant une grossesse<\/strong> et \u00eatre poursuivie au moins pendant le premier trimestre de la grossesse.<br \/>\nCommencer \u00e0 prendre de l&rsquo;acide folique apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de la grossesse est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement trop tard pour pr\u00e9venir efficacement les anomalies du tube neural.       <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">En effet, la moelle \u00e9pini\u00e8re se d\u00e9veloppe d\u00e9j\u00e0 au cours des toutes premi\u00e8res semaines de la grossesse.<br \/>\nA ce moment-l\u00e0,
