com idades compreendidas entre os 19 e os 24 anos analisadas apresentavam uma car\u00eancia de iodo, apesar de j\u00e1 consumirem sal iodado.<br \/>\nNa faixa et\u00e1ria dos 25 aos 34 anos, 60,9% t\u00eam uma ingest\u00e3o insuficiente de iodo e, na faixa et\u00e1ria dos 35 aos 50 anos, mais de metade s\u00e3o afectadas por car\u00eancias de iodo.<br \/>\nSe o sal de mesa iodado n\u00e3o for utilizado para cozinhar, entre 99,1 % e 97,4 % das mulheres com idades compreendidas entre os 19 e os 50 anos n\u00e3o satisfazem as suas necessidades di\u00e1rias m\u00ednimas de iodo atrav\u00e9s da A isto acresce o facto de as futuras m\u00e3es necessitarem de ainda mais iodo &#8211; a defici\u00eancia de iodo comprovada seria correspondentemente maior. &#8220;<em>A necessidade de profilaxia da car\u00eancia de iodo na Alemanha aplica-se, em particular, \u00e0s mulheres durante a gravidez e a amamenta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/em>&#8220;, afirma o Departamento Federal de Sa\u00fade.<br \/>\nTal como o Instituto Federal para a Prote\u00e7\u00e3o da Sa\u00fade dos Consumidores, recomenda as seguintes medidas<br \/>\n1. utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o exclusiva de sal de mesa iodado ou substitutos do sal de mesa iodado em casa.<br \/>\n2. privilegiar os alimentos produzidos com sal de mesa iodado, nomeadamente o p\u00e3o e os produtos \u00e0 base de carne<br \/>\n3. Consome regularmente peixe de mar.<br \/>\nIsto porque o peixe de mar \u00e9 uma boa fonte natural de iodo e um fornecedor dos importantes \u00e1cidos gordos \u00f3mega 3 DHA e EPA.<br \/>\nO leite tamb\u00e9m cont\u00e9m iodo.<br \/>\n4. ingest\u00e3o di\u00e1ria adicional de 150 a 200 \u00b5g &#8211; por exemplo, sob a forma de suplementos alimentares adaptados \u00e0s necessidades da
