amitamin® fertil F phase 1 and phase 2 in comparison

folate and multi vitamins during pregnancy and preconception

If you want to compare amitamin® fertil F phase 1 and phase 2, you will probably ask yourself,

  1. Can’t I start with amitamin® fertil F phase 2 right away and take it when I want to have children to prepare for pregnancy?
  2. I am vegan and would therefore like to take amitamin® fertil F phase 1, but I don’t want to take amitamin® fertil F phase 2 because of the omega-3 fatty acids from fish.
Should I stop taking phase 1 after the third month?

Key similarities between amitamin® fertil F phase 1 and phase 2

Before we get to the differences, let’s first look at the most important similarities between the two products:

  1. Both provide you with an optimal supply of bioactive folate Quatrefolic® and folic acid.
  2. Both contain a comprehensive combination of important vitamins: Vitamin A from beta-carotene, vitamin D3, vitamin C, vitamin E, the B vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, pantothenic acid and biotin.
    And of course folate.
  3. Both contain important trace elements, namely iron, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese and iodine.
  4. Both contain minerals calcium and magnesium.

Both amitamin® fertil F phase 1 and phase 2 are good for the desire to have a baby, pregnancy and breastfeeding

The combination of both products is therefore good throughout the entire period of wanting a child, throughout pregnancy and until the end of breastfeeding.
There is no reason to avoid either product at any time during the desire to have a baby, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
But there are reasons why we recommend amitamin® fertil f phase 1 from the time you want to have a baby until the 12th week and why we recommend switching to amitamin® fertil f phase 2 from then on at the latest.

This is why amitamin® fertil F phase 1 is ideal for women who want to have children and at the beginning of pregnancy

The following reasons speak in favor of starting to take amitamin® fertil F phase 1 if you want to have a baby:

  1. Just one capsule a day – and still optimally supplied with bioactive folate Quatrefolic® and folic acid, plus a total of 21 micronutrients in just one capsule.
This is as simple as possible, yet very comprehensive and well dosed.
  2. 800 µg total folate (Quatrefolic® and folic acid) are optimal for quickly building up a good folate level in the blood.
Folate levels are particularly important in the very first weeks of pregnancy.
If you only take folate when you know you are pregnant, it is too late.
The risk of neural tube defects can no longer be influenced by folate at this stage. Therefore: take a folate supplement as soon as you stop using contraception!
  3. Overall, the requirements for additional micronutrients – apart from folate – are not so high in early pregnancy.
That’s why we were able to get all the vitamins, trace elements and minerals we needed in one capsule.
  4. The special properties of the essential omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA are not so much in demand before pregnancy and in the first few weeks.
The product is therefore particularly suitable for vegans.
  5. amitamin® fertil F phase 1 is not only particularly easy to take, it is also particularly inexpensive.
    See for yourself!

This is why amitamin® fertil F phase 2 is ideal from the 13th week at the latest

The following reasons speak in favor of switching to
amitamin® fertil F phase 2 from the end of the third month:

  1. The nutritional requirements of the mother and the unborn child are constantly increasing.
This is why amitamin fertil F phase 2 also contains higher doses of most micronutrients.
  2. 600 µg of total folate (Quatrefolic® and folic acid) is a good amount once the folate level in the blood has been built up.
  3. The special properties of the essential omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA are now particularly important for the child.
DHA (at least 200 mg daily) contributes to the healthy development of the unborn child’s eyes and brain when it is born.
Incidentally, DHA is an essential fatty acid that is NOT the same as plant-based omega-3 fatty acids.
Humans cannot produce DHA themselves from other fatty acids, but are dependent on external intake, particularly through the consumption of oily sea fish.
  4. amitamin® fertil F phase 2 is available from €19.95 per monthly pack free of shipping costs and is therefore considerably cheaper than most competitors you know.
Quality from Germany at a low price.

Back to the questions from the beginning

I am vegan – what do you recommend?

If you are vegan, you may not want to switch to amitamin® fertil F phase 2 because of the fish oil capsules made from gelatine (from beef) and the fish oil.
In this case you have two alternatives:

  1. You can continue to take one capsule of amitamin® fertil F phase 1 daily throughout your pregnancy and until the end of breastfeeding.
The formula is not quite optimal for this phase of pregnancy, in particular the special fatty acid DHA (docosahexanoic acid) is missing – but taking it still makes a good contribution to healthy nutrition during pregnancy.
  2. Alternatively, you can also buy amitamin® fertil F phase 2 and not take the oil capsules.
Both dry capsules are purely plant-based and therefore suitable for vegans.

I would like to take omega-3 DHA and EPA right from the start

amitamin® fertil F phase 2 is then a very good dietary supplement – even from the time you want to have children.
As the amount of folic acid is somewhat lower (600 µg total folate, consisting of bioactive Quatrefolic® and folic acid), you should definitely start taking it at the latest when you stop using contraception.
This allows a good folate level to be built up over a few weeks.
